intentional-prayerWe believe prayer is the engine room of the church and we want to encourage a culture of spirit led prayer, in our individual lives, church, family and communities.

There are various informal opportunities to join in prayer in the life of the church as well as opportunities to receive prayer by our prayer ministry team.

We have regular 12 hour prayer days and a monthly joint prayer and praise meeting (see Growth Groups.)

There will be a prayer time before both morning and afternoon services for anyone who would like to pray. It is in the room opposite the Sunday School room. Before Sunday Morning Services: 9:15 – 10 & before Sunday Afternoon Services: 2:45 – 3:30.

There will be music and a ‘creative corner’ (pictures, flowers, words, scriptures) which will change from week to week. Again this is not to make you pray about anything in particular but rather to be inspiring in this time of prayer.  We feel this is a great opportunity to pray each week and encourage you to join in praying for the church or anything on your heart. You can come in for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes or whatever you like. This is quite a reflective time so we ask you to please be mindful of one another.

Jesus said “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened” (Matt 7:7-8).
